The WSSC is a privately run facility in Western Springs that offers recreational swimming, swim lessons, lap swimming, a competitive swim team, and water aerobics. The WSSC outdoor pools are open during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The facilities include two swimming pools, an infant pool, slides, an outdoor snack venue, volleyball and field area, sunbathing decks and shaded areas as well. Membership is not limited to Western Springs residents.  All ages are encouraged to join. For more information click on Membership.

WSSC POOL HOURS – 2009 Season
 

Regular Hours
Saturday (all pools – beginning Sat. May 23)       10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sunday (all pools – beginning Sun. May 24) 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Regular weekday hours – beginning Mon. May 25

East Pool - Monday Thru Friday 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
West Pool – Monday thru Friday 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Baby Pool – Monday thru Friday               (children 5 years and younger only, and must be accompanied by an adult)  9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
 

5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily West Pool: no children under age 16. East Pool: Family Swim – children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
7:00 p.m. to closing daily – 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
