Pool Rules

1) All members checking-in MUST present their pool pass to the front desk attendant. Providing your name will NOT be accepted.

2)Admission to the pool shall be refused to all people having any contagious disease; any infectious conditions such as colds, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, inflamed eyes, ear discharges; or any other condition that has the appearance of being infectious.

3) All children, 10 years and younger, must be accompanied by an adult throughout their entire visit to the facility.

4) WSSC is a smoke-free facility. No smoking or vaping allowed on property.

5) Alcohol is permitted ONLY on Food Truck Fridays or other specified dates. No alcohol is permitted on the pool deck at any time.

6) No food or non-water drink is permitted on the pool deck.

7) Glass items are RESTRICTED within the pool facility at all times.

8) Patrons must be 12 years of age to use lounge chairs.

9) All children that are not potty trained (5 years and younger), must wear appropriate swim diapers and/or plastic pants while using any of the pools: West Pool, East Pool, Wading Pool.

10) The Wading Pool (Kiddie Pool) is for children 6 years and younger. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED IN THE WADING POOL BY A PARENT OR TRUSTED NANNY AT ALL TIMES – NO EXCEPTIONS.

11) The West Pool Walking & Swimming Lap Lanes are exclusively reserved for walkers or lap swimmers. These lanes CANNOT be occupied by anyone other than appropriate walkers or lap swimmers.

12) No running, rough housing, or other dangerous behavior will be tolerated. Children or adults violating this policy may be placed in time-out or asked to leave the facility that day if it becomes excessively dangerous.

13) Caution shall be exercised during the use of the diving facilities. Diving-Well specific rules are posted behind the diving board. Any person breaking these rules may be suspended from using the diving board.

14) PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING TO A LIFEGUARD WHILE ON DUTY IN A LIFEGUARD CHAIR – UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY. If you have questions, please speak with the Manager on Duty.
 

15) The use of sunblock is strongly encouraged. There is no safe exposure level to the sun.
 

16) The Gaga Pit is NOT supervised by WSSC staff. Please attend to your children.
 

17) Lifeguards are on duty to actively monitor the pool area and ensure the safety of all swimmers; always follow their instructions and seek assistance if needed. Lifeguards are permitted to enforce additional rules/policies to guarantee the safety of the facility. All questions should be directed to the Manager on Duty.
 

18) The Board, at its own discretion, reserves the right to suspend or terminate any or all rights of a member for any reason including, but not limited to, anyone that allows his or her membership to be
used by another person.
